The fifth album from this Swedish musician and composer. He released nine albums in total and this is very much the halfway point in his career.
Bo Hansson does all the tangents here and has enlisted around ten other musicians to do other instruments. Mostly woodwinds in addition to bass, drums and some guitars. There is no vocals here.
The music Bo does is not easy to grasp. At least not on this album. There is a lot of symph prog, classical music, Swedish folk music, new-age and jazz here. That and some avant-garde music. Both jazz and rock.
Bo plays his tangents very competently and the sound is very good. There is a lot of influences here. What this album is missing is some really good music. There is none as far as I am concerned. This forty-three minutes long album is plodding along without really making me happy. It is kind of Jean Michel Jarre without the inspirations. This album is not for me.
