Myriad - Quietude (2013)

The second EP from this Australian project and the so far final sign of life from Myriad.

It is perhaps wrong to label this thirty-three minutes long release as an EP. I would label it as an album. But it is what it is.

Myriad is a two piece on this album/EP. Steve Clark on drums and Matt Heidendorf on everything else. In particular guitars. The long guitar solos is both melodic and great. They are the best thing about this album.

The music is somewhere between Pink Floyd'ish space rock, avant-garde electronica and melodic psychedelic rock. There is no vocals here. The music is really floating around in the room. This mainly due to the guitars again.

The end result is a good album/EP which has a lot to offer the listener on an evening night after work. It is also a free download, if you so wish to do that or you may also wish to pay for this album. Link below.
